The herbs used in this workshop were planted by participants of our 3rd-anniversary event back in April of this year. On the day of the workshop, the children harvested these grown herbs themselves and learned by observing the process of extracting essential oils using a distiller.
In between essential oil extractions, we held a bath bomb making session. Children eagerly created their own original bath bombs, choosing their favorite scents, colors, and shapes. We also saw children diligently taking notes for their summer research projects, and parents and children intently observing the distillation apparatus. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about our activities while having fun.

STYLEM will continue to develop activities that everyone can enjoy participating in.
