Stylem Takisada-Osaka Co., Ltd. (Head office: Naniwa-ku, Osaka; Representative Director and President: Ryuta Taki; hereinafter "Stylem") provided environmentally and socially conscious textiles for clothing created by fashion designer Yasutoshi Ezumi, and "TUTTI® BOARD" (Tutti Board), handled by Stylem's PLUS∞GREEN PROJECT, for architecture created by architect Kengo Kuma, for the special exhibition "Analogy of Covering: Assembling Clothes / Weaving Architecture" at the JP Tower Museum Intermediatheque.
Stylem provided environmentally and socially conscious textiles for clothing created by fashion designer Yasutoshi Ezumi, and "TUTTI® BOARD", a felt board made from recycled polyester fibers such as clothing that would normally be discarded, handled by the PLUS∞GREEN PROJECT, for architecture created by Kengo Kuma, for the special exhibition "Analogy of Covering: Assembling Clothes / Weaving Architecture" at the JP Tower Museum Intermediatheque, a public contribution facility jointly operated by Japan Post Co., Ltd. and The University Museum, The University of Tokyo.
■ What is "Analogy of Covering: Assembling Clothes / Weaving Architecture"?
This is the world's first public exhibition planned by fashion designer Yasutoshi Ezumi, architect Kengo Kuma, and Intermediatheque.
Although clothing and architecture are different fields, they are both creations that define "wearing" in human activities, and both are positioned as "covering environments" that broadly surround human activities. "Assembling Clothes / Weaving Architecture" focuses on the similar structural and organizational composition of clothing and architecture, and attempts to present new, organically integrated design methods such as increased freedom due to the development of production technology, the use of natural materials with consideration for environmental impact, and the reuse of recycled fibers and materials.

In "Assembling Clothes", fashion designer Mr. Ezumi explores and expresses a new way of thinking about clothing by drawing inspiration from Mr. Kuma's theory of architecture and digesting architectural structures into clothing.
In "Weaving Architecture", architect Mr. Kuma, with the desire to revive a design that organically connects architecture and humans like knitting, weaves the soft-to-the-touch TUTTI BOARD instead of ordinary building materials to create a space that dialogues with "Assembling Clothes". This is the first attempt to provide TUTTI BOARD as a material for architecture, creating new possibilities for its use.
