1. Background to the Corporate Name Change
Founded in 1864, TAKISADA CO., LTD. was divided into TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD. (now STYLEM Ltd.) and TAKISADA-NAGOYA CO., LTD. (now TAKISADA CORPORATION) in 2001, with each company subsequently operating under independent management. Takisada-Osaka introduced the corporate brand "STYLEM" in 2013 and, after changing its corporate name to STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD. in 2021, has steadily expanded recognition of the STYLEM brand both in Japan and internationally.
The latest corporate name change to "STYLEM Ltd." further aligns the Company's corporate name with its brand identity while enhancing recognition beyond the textile industry.
2. New Corporate Tagline “1864 >>> Your Creative Partner”
To coincide with the corporate name change, STYLEM has introduced its new corporate tagline for the STYLEM corporate brand: “1864 >>> Your Creative Partner.”
- “1864 >>>”: Represents the Company’s heritage and traditions dating back to its founding in 1864.
The “>>>” symbol embodies STYLEM's commitment to continuous evolution, connecting the past, present, and future while pursuing new possibilities and creating new value.
- “Your Creative Partner”: Expresses STYLEM’s commitment to being a creative partner by enhancing the creativity of both customers and suppliers and co-creating new value.
3. Corporate Website Redesign
Coinciding with the corporate name change on August 1, 2026, STYLEM has completely renewed corporate website.
The redesigned website highlights the values and spirit that STYLEM has cherished since its founding, long-standing dedication to manufacturing and craftsmanship, and its unique solution capabilities that transform diverse needs and challenges into value through creative collaboration with its partners.
