Weaving the Future from Fiber
About PLUS∞GREEN PROJECT
PLUS∞GREEN PROJECT is an initiative aimed at promoting a lifestyle in which people feel more connected to sustainability through recycling of polyester fibers — including clothing that would otherwise be discarded — into growing mediums, and by proposing other various of opportunities. We hope this project will shift people’s mindsets away from disposal, promote appreciation for limited resources, and help them feel closer to increasing greenery and engaging in other environmentally conscious activities.

Sangetsu Corporation
We have adopted TUTTI for the green spaces within “PARCs,” our newly established hub for value creation. The TUTTI introduced at PARCs is a custom-made variant that uses approximately 20% of raw materials consisting of polyester curtain fabrics that would otherwise have been discarded, which were collected through our “Sangetsu Curtain Recycle Systems.” This marks the very first time that curtain fabric has been transformed into TUTTI. This initiative highlights the potential of upcycling, transforming waste into a new, valuable product.

Kengo Kuma & Associates
We resonated with the circular manufacturing process of TUTTI BOARD, a material crafted from discarded clothing and production textile scraps. Beyond simply reducing waste, it enables semi-permanent recycling through a process of fine shredding and reshaping. By utilizing supple TUTTI BOARD, we were able to realize a human- and eco-friendly design that gently weaves and envelops the space. Learn moreNew Possibilities for Textiles
By recycling polyester fibers that would otherwise be discarded or incinerated, we are expanding their potential beyond textiles — into plant-growing mediums, TUTTI BOARD materials, and a variety of other applications. We also aim to further explore new possibilities through collaboration across different industries.

TUTTI
TUTTI is a “growing medium made from fiber”. We upcycle polyester fibers from clothes and other fabrics that would otherwise be discarded.
STYLEM AGRI LABO
Since 2021, STYLEM has been conducting growth trials of TUTTI using the latest facilities at “Parchez Herb Garden & Spa” operated by Awaji Island Parchez.
TUTTI BOARD
TUTTI BOARD is a recycled felt board crafted from polyester fibers derived from clothing and textiles that would otherwise be discarded. It can be used to make various items such as bags and plant pot covers, as well as for functional materials including sound-absorbing panels.
Greening
In collaboration with our partner companies, we utilize TUTTI to propose tailored green space designs, including interior, exterior, wall, and garden areas.
Greenery Rentals
We offer plant rental services utilizing TUTTI. In collaboration with horticultural partners, we propose curated plans featuring thoughtfully selected plants and pots.
Space Design
Utilizing TUTTI and TUTTI BOARD, we design and propose plans that align with the concepts of events and exhibitions, in collaboration with our partner companies.
Upcycled Products
We offer a wide variety of upcycled products crafted from TUTTI and TUTTI BOARD, including original growing kits and hangers.
“TUTTI” – a growing medium made from fiber

The small actions each of us take can make a big difference to the environment. Take the first step together with “TUTTI”. TUTTI is a “growing medium made from fiber”.
We upcycle polyester fibers from clothes and other fabrics that would otherwise be discarded. You can grow vegetables, flowers, saplings, anything you like with it. Let’s stop throwing away the clothes we wear every day and increase greenery by recycling them. That’s how TUTTI was born. When people engage with TUTTI — by planting with it, sharing it, or simply learning about it — they contribute to a more environmentally friendly future.
STYLEM AGRI LABO: A cultivation test site using the recycled polyester fiber soil.

STYLEM has started “STYLEM AGRI LABO”, a cultivation testing site using the recycled polyester fiber soil “TUTTI,” equipped with the latest facilities within Parchez Herb Garden & Spa on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture. Since its start in 2021, STYLEM has been conducting growth trials of vegetables and fruits in collaboration with Kindai University and Earth Conscious Co., Ltd. The lab currently focuses on cultivating various herbs, which are now used as part of the product lineup at Parchez’s on-site facilities. Crops successfully cultivated so far include: Onions, potatoes, asparagus, okra, wasabi, Italian parsley, basil, lettuce, lemons, strawberries, and more.

How TUTTI Is Made: The Growing Medium Made from Recycled Polyester Fiber
Collection
Collection
We collect textile waste from various sources, including clothing scraps, discarded textiles, uniforms, workwear, and curtains.
Sorting
Sorting
The collected materials are sorted into categories such as cotton, cellulosic fibers, polyester, nylon, acrylic, wool, and non-textile accessories. Fibers are sent to fiber-shredding mills, while accessories are directed to thermal recycling.
Textile Shredding
Textile Shredding
The sorted fibers are processed through opening and garnetting to create fine, cotton-like fibers. TUTTI utilizes recycled fibers primarily made from polyester.
Felt Production
Felt Production
The reclaimed fibers are transformed into felt for automotive and interior materials. During this processing stage, the felt scraps are reprocessed into chips, creating the primary raw material for TUTTI.
TUTTI
TUTTI
The chipped felt is then blended with specialized ingredients, such as perlite, to create the finished TUTTI.
