STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Naniwa-ku, Osaka; President: Ryuta Taki; hereinafter "Stylem") made a donation and provided fabric free of charge to Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts through its local subsidiary in Shanghai (TAKISADA-OSAKA TRADING (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD.) as part of its ongoing efforts for sustainability and community engagement.
In November 2021, our Shanghai subsidiary made a donation to Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts as part of its ongoing efforts for sustainability and community engagement. In addition, six selected students from the institute were invited to our office, where they picked several fabrics from our wide selection at the SWATCH LIBRARY, and these fabrics were provided to them free of charge. Works created using the provided fabrics are scheduled to be showcased at the Shanghai Fashion Week show in April 2022.
This initiative is undertaken as a social contribution activity in China, expressing our gratitude for the more than ten years of relationship-building and mutual growth with our customers since the establishment of our Shanghai subsidiary in 2009. By supporting students who aspire to be active in the fashion industry worldwide in the future, we aim to continue fostering relationships that enable mutual growth.
Stylem will continue its ongoing efforts for sustainability and community engagement. We plan to extend such initiatives to other regions in China and to countries related to our business.
