STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA and Asano Nenshi Form Strategic Partnership to Launch Textile Brand "SORAITO"

■Background to this Partnership

Stylam was drawn to the softness and lightness of Asano Nenshi's "Air Kaoru" towels, and saw the potential to apply that technology to the fashion industry. Stylam was also deeply impressed by Asano Nenshi's strong conviction and passion in continuing to rebuild Fukushima Prefecture's Futaba Town from scratch, which led to the formation of this strategic partnership.

Asano Hosiery's patented technology, combined with Stylem's long-cultivated planning, development, and information capabilities, will be leveraged to jointly develop yarn based on "SUPER ZERO." Textiles produced using this yarn will be delivered to customers worldwide under the name "SORAITO." Stylem will connect supply chains with companies with whom it has a long and strong cooperative relationship, promote unique manufacturing utilizing its domestic and international networks and information capabilities, and sell not only domestically but also globally, leveraging its global sales capabilities.

■What is the textile brand "SORAITO"?

"SORAITO" is a textile brand developed by Stylem for the fashion market, based on Asano撚糸's innovative yarn "SUPER ZERO," which boasts world-class yarn-twisting technology. Its name embodies the idea of being as airy and light (LIGHT) as the sky (SORA) while possessing a distinct presence, and of delivering new comfort to the world from a single thread (ITO).
By jointly developing the yarn from the initial stages, we have achieved both "flexibility and lightness," which were previously difficult to combine, and "durability," which is essential for apparel products. It provides new added value to diverse markets, from innerwear and sportswear to sophisticated fashion.
