A T-shirt proposed by STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD. (Head office: Naniwa-ku, Osaka; President: Ryuta Taki; hereinafter "STYELM"), which provided yarn blended with "Triporous™" (hereinafter "Triporous"), a porous carbon material derived from rice husks developed by Sony Group Corporation (hereinafter "Sony Group"), will be launched on June 19, 2026, at 300 directly managed 7-Eleven stores in Hong Kong, including its flagship store.
STYLEM has been focusing on applying Triporous, a recycled surplus resource, to the textile apparel sector and providing textile materials for various applications, including clothing. In this initiative, the material's characteristics, such as the reuse of rice husks and its deodorizing function, were highly evaluated. STYLEM provided yarn blended with Triporous and also made product planning proposals for specifications and designs, leading to its adoption.
