(Headquarters: Naniwa-ku, Osaka; President: Ryuta Taki; hereinafter referred to as "Stylem") will hold the "ovoveil Exhibition in Collaboration with STYLEM" from November 26 (Wed.) to 28 (Fri.), 2025, in collaboration with Pharma Foods International Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishikyo-ku, Kyoto; President: Kim Mu-jo; hereinafter referred to as "Pharma Foods"), featuring "ovoveil," a new material derived from eggshell membranes.
■ About "ovoveil"
Developed by Pharma Foods, ovoveil is a new natural fiber material derived from eggshell membranes that is gentle on the wearer and environmentally friendly. The thin inner membrane of eggshells (eggshell membrane), which is typically discarded, is hydrolyzed and blended into regenerated cellulose fibers using a unique special technology. As a material that reuses eggshell membranes, which were often discarded, it is a sustainable material that contributes to waste reduction and CO2 emission reduction. Its features include excellent moisturizing properties, and by adjusting the eggshell membrane components and fiber structure, it can create a moist and smooth texture like silk or cashmere.
